Russia sold the first Ansat helicopter to Serbia

Kazan Helicopter Plant, which belongs to Russian Helicopters Holding Company, has handed over to Serbia the first of three Ansat helicopters.

The Ministry of Interior of Bosnia and Herzegovina acted as the customer. A total of three helicopters were to be delivered to the European side by the Russian factory.

The helicopter is equipped with a medical module with a stretcher and a medical shelf. There are five passenger seats in the aircraft, they can be put instead of the medical module. In addition, the helicopter is equipped with an active vibration damping system.

The remaining two aircrafts will be handed over to Serbia's police forces next year and in 2022. Additionally, they will be equipped with search lights, parachute-less landing system, winch and external sling.

Three technicians and two pilots were trained at the aviation training center of the factory within the contract for the supply of helicopters in the Republic of Serbia.

Ansat is a light twin-engine multipurpose helicopter. It is serially produced at the Kazan Helicopter Plant.

Thanks to the special design of the aircraft, the helicopter can be transformed into a cargo or passenger configuration. In the latter case, the helicopter can carry up to 7 people.
