Four former industrial zones in Moscow will be reorganized for 25 billion rubles

Moscow authorities have decided to begin to develop two areas in the north and south of the city and to set boundaries of integrated territorial development (IDD) of two former industrial zones in the east. For this purpose it is planned to spend more than 25 billion investments in total, said Vladimir Yefimov, the Mayor of Moscow.

So, within these measures on the place of former industrial zones Bratsevo, Chertanovo and Vykhino with area of more than 11 hectares there will be built modern industrial and public-business objects. In addition, redevelopment awaits the former industrial zone in Perovo. Residential buildings, a kindergarten, a school and a children's polyclinic will appear there.

The reorganization of these territories will create more than five thousand jobs. The budgetary effect for a city can make almost 2 billion rubles a year, Efimov has added.

Rights holders of Bratsevo and Chertanovo can apply to the mayor's office within six months to sign contracts on CRT on their initiative with provision of the developed documents on territory planning. If they do not want to renovate these territories the city will seek for investors at an auction.

In total it is planned to invest here almost 9 billion rubles. Investor will have the right to build on the territory of 2,8 hectares public and business objects with a total area of about 112 thousand "squares". For instance, these may be retail outlets, cafes, or entertainment centres.
