Rosatom State Corporation has cancelled corporate parties. The corresponding order was signed by Director General Alexei Likhachev.

The ban also applies to the participation of employees of the corporation's organizations in holiday events in other companies and teams.

In addition, the employees were advised not to travel abroad from December 20 to January 17 and instructed not to travel outside the Russian Federation on private matters. Moscow and Moscow Region, St Petersburg and Leningrad Region are considered as one region in the order.

The document prescribes the requirement to explain to the employees of the Rosatom organizations and the population of the closed administrative-territorial formations and monocities about increased risks of coronovirus in case of travel in Russia and abroad not only for the employees, but also for their family members, relatives and colleagues at work.

The document suggests that these actions are being taken to protect staff in a pandemic.
