IBS has made an investment in the City-Farmer, a resident of the Skolkovo biomedical technology cluster.

It is expected that due to the cooperation the Skolkovo resident will have the technological and methodological competence to organize service support for the farm clients. It will also have a positive impact on the development of intelligent control systems for growing processes.

City-Farmer produces and services digital agricultural farms. And it manages irrigation, ventilation, lighting and humidification online using artificial intelligence. Thanks to this it is possible to effectively plan crops and harvest dates. Digital farms have now begun to be widely used in the cultivation of mushrooms, lettuce and herbs.

Sophia Romaschenko, project manager of the Skolkovo Biomedical Technologies Cluster, said that the joint activities of the two companies will enable the start-up to reach a new level and increase demand for the products.
