Specialists of the Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems (ISS) from the Krasnoyarsk region have developed microcircuits for the SpaceWire onboard networks.

Under the contract, which was signed with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, specialists of the basic system design centre created prototype microcircuits for use in the space industry. In particular, they are planned to be used within SpaceWire spacecrafts.

New equipment will be put into mass production at a plant in Zelenograd.

In October the Glonass-K navigation spacecraft was launched. It was also created by the ISS.

The launch of Soyuz-2.1b with the Glonass-K spacecraft took place on October 25 at 22.08 (Moscow time). The satellite then separated from the Fregat upper stage according to the estimated time.
