One of the largest agrarian holdings in Bashkiria - the Kalinin enterprise and the Dairy Cattle Breeding Complex - are planning to invest about 3 billion rubles in meat production.

The agricultural holding is one of the top ten producers of grain crops in the Republic. There is also production of 14 thousand tons of milk.

The company is planning to start building fattening sites and calf houses in two districts of the region.

The holding expects to include the new project for the production of meat in the priority list in order to be eligible for federal subsidies. These subsidies will be used to purchase agricultural machinery and pedigree cattle under leasing programmes.
