Milk sales in Russia grew by almost 6%
Daily milk sales by agricultural organizations in Russia increased by 5.9% year-on-year to 47 thousand tons. This is evidenced by data from the Ministry of Agriculture as of 7 December.
The highest results were recorded in Tatarstan, Krasnodar Territory, Udmurtia, Belgorod, Voronezh, Leningrad, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, and Novosibirsk regions.
The average milk yield per cow in a day exceeded 16 kg. This is 0.83 kilograms more than in 2019. Leaders among regions in this indicator include the Leningrad, Penza, Kaliningrad and Lipetsk regions.
