Russian manufacturer KAMAZ has become the leader in sales of new trucks in the country in 2020, according to the website of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The company sold almost 28 thousand trucks last year, the increase compared to 2019 was 0.6%.

In second place was Russian GAZ, whose sales amounted to 6.8 thousand vehicles, but this figure is 23.1% lower than a year earlier.

The third line with 4.9 thousand cars was taken by the Swedish company Sunia. Its sales fell by 12.4% compared to 2019.

Fourth place went to Swedish Volvo (4.5 thousand trucks, a reduction of nearly 21%).

Seventh line is occupied by Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ). Although its sales in December soared by 43% (against December 2019), overall sales of MAZ trucks in Russia fell by 3.1% to 3.7 thousand vehicles compared with a year earlier.
