The Tula plant of state corporation Rostec has created the latest radiation, chemical and biological (RCB) reconnaissance vehicle RXM-9, said Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko.

The Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation, which is part of Rostec, has sent the first batch of Terminator tank support vehicles made on the chassis of the T-90A tank.

The RXB-9 was created on the basis of the automotive chassis of the Typhoon family. This newest Russian vehicle is designed to conduct reconnaissance on the battlefield.

The vehicles are equipped with new devices, the construction of which allows taking samples in automatic mode without the crew getting out of the vehicle into the contaminated zone. The effectiveness of the RXM-9 is 2 times higher than that of previous RXB reconnaissance vehicles.
