Transmashholding's plant delivered 2 shunting diesel locomotives to Mongolia

Bryansk Machine-Building Plant has exported two shunting diesel locomotives to Mongolia, which will be operated by the Ulan Bator Railway.

The contract for the equipment supply was concluded in 2019. Also under the agreement, the plant will send 10 more of the same and 14 mainline freight locomotives.

In Mongolia the supplied TEM18DM diesel locomotives have been in use since 2011.

Specially for that country the locomotives were equipped with the audio-video registration system.

The training center of the Bryansk plant trains the specialists that will have to work on these locomotives.

The Russian enterprise has been manufacturing the said locomotives since 2008. They are in demand on the public railway network and industrial enterprises with their own rolling stock.

Two years ago, Transmashholding was certified for batch production of new modifications of the shunting locomotive. For example, the base model can be equipped with four additional systems in different combinations depending on operating tasks.
