The domestic vaccine against coronavirus Sputnik V has become the biggest scientific breakthrough since the Soviet Union, writes foreign news agency Bloombeg.

According to the agency, earlier The Lancet journal had published the results of the third phase of clinical study Sputnik V, which showed that the drug is not inferior to American and European counterparts and is more effective than the Chinese vaccine.

Following this article, a number of countries have expressed a desire to purchase the Russian vaccine. These include Brazil, Hungary and India.
