Agrarians in Lipetsk will be able to export 57,000 tonnes of grain duty-free

Lipetsk agrarians will be able to supply about 57 thousand tons of grain outside the country, according to the website of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

Last year more than 500 thousand tons of grain worth over 110 million dollars were exported from the region.

Russia has been imposing restrictions on grain exports since February 15 - June 30 this year. Thus, 17.5 million tons of wheat, rye, barley and corn can be exported without any customs duty.

The Agriculture Ministry has distributed this amount among the agrarian enterprises, which have applied for quotas. Any supplies exceeding the above-mentioned amounts will be subject to a duty equal to 50% of the customs value, but no less than 100 Euros per ton.

Six Lipetsk companies will be able to export 56.6 thousand tons of grain duty-free.
