Penza dairy producer Rusmoloko will invest 2.5 billion rubles in dairy farming until 2022.

In particular, it will finance expansion of the dairy complex in Serdobsk from 5,200 to 7,200 dairy cattle.

The activities are to be completed by the end of the year and the facility will be operating at full capacity as of the beginning of the next year.

After the implementation of the investment program milk yield will increase to 250 tons per day or up to 90 thousand tons per year. In general, the livestock will increase up to 16 thousand heads.

Three new cowsheds for 3.7 thousand stalls, two calves barns for 900 heads, sheds for calves and several auxiliary facilities (straw shed, lagoons) will appear on the territory of the complex.

During the construction special attention will be paid to comfortable keeping of the animals. For this purpose, the cows on the farm will not be tied down so that they can freely use the feed table, drinkers and resting places at any time of the day or night. Manure removal and feeding will be mechanized, and drinkers will be equipped with heated water.

Following the expansion, the complex will create approximately 100 new jobs.
