A plant for the production of seeds and food salt was launched in the settlement of Zarechny in the Amur region.

At the moment, according to the regional authorities, the region produces over 1 million tons of soybeans in total, however, about 100 thousand tons of soybean seeds and 50 thousand tons of cereals are needed to increase the harvest.

The new enterprise will partially cover this demand in the short term. However, part of the production will be supplied abroad. Now the plant management is going to boost cooperation with Japan and South Korea.

According to Stepan Inyutochkin, the commercial director of the company, 30 thousand tons of products will be produced there every year.

The construction of the plant took eight months and cost 150 million rubles.
