Russia's largest railcar manufacturer, United Wagon Company, has signed an agreement with Estonian railway company Skinest Rail for the supply of tank cars for the transportation of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

The locomotives will be operated in the Baltic States. The first 23 cars will be exported in June.

Concern Skinest Rail will be the first in the CIS countries to start using tank wagons of the 15-6855 model. This tank car has an increased boiler volume and is equipped with axle-loaded running gear.

One of the main advantages of the car is the innovative undercarriage with increased mileage between overhauls up to one million kilometers. The service life of the car is 40 years.
