The Ryazan enterprise "Border" has started producing door fittings with a colorful decorative coating. Investments in the launch of new production amounted to 320 million rubles.

As part of the modernization, the company replaced the old equipment in one of the workshops. As a result, it was possible to launch the production of door handles with a colorful decorative electroplated finish.

Apart from that, the plant started to produce locks, latches and handles for entrance and interior doors in a great extent - up to 2 million sets annually.

At present about 60% of Russian-made locks are imported from China, Turkey and Italy. The number of Russian-made locks is expected to grow to 80% due to the launch of new production facilities.
