A new paint spraying complex will appear on the territory of the aggregate production facility of KAMAZ plant. Now the foundation is being prepared for its installation.

Due to use of the new equipment the corrosion resistance of paint coating of units and parts of trucks will increase.

This complex will be used for dispatching of parts which are currently painted on three lines in various workshops. The existing equipment is outdated, and therefore the quality of surface preparation before painting does not meet the necessary requirements, according to KAMAZ website.

Use of the new paint system of cataphoresis priming with liquid enamel coating will provide corrosion resistance of the paintwork, Sergey Safonov, head of the department of special technologies and standards of the plant says.

He stressed that it will also eliminate corrosion on the mating surfaces of the parts, including threaded joints of the primed parts.

At the moment, construction of the foundation and painting of the hull metal structures in the area of the complex is close to completion. The equipment of the Italian company IMEL is ready for shipment.

The installation will take nine months. According to the plan, the complex will be commissioned in the first quarter of the next year.
