Altai enterprise Nortek has launched serial production of several new tire models for agricultural machinery. The first batch has already been presented at exhibitions and on racks in Russian retail chains and abroad.

Among the novelties is a 270/95R48 agricultural tyre which has covered more than 5 thousand kilometres during tests and has been recommended for use on inter-row cultivation implements.

Another tyre is the large-size 650/70R38 model with unified design which is suitable for tractors.

The company has also created the 9.5R42 tyre, which on average has covered 4.5 thousand kilometres during tests and can now be used in agriculture for tillage of inter-row crops.

The new tires began to be produced after the modernization of facilities at the plant. A truck tire assembly machine was installed in December and another screw-roller unit for manufacturing of tire treads was put into operation.
