Cosmetics and hair products have become the most sought-after Moscow everyday goods abroad. The main importers of such products were Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and China.

According to the Moscow Export Center, hair products, cosmetics and household chemicals were the most popular products abroad among those manufactured in Moscow.

The volume of supplies of hair products outside Russia amounted to 139 million dollars. Makeup and skin care products from Moscow were exported for 104 million dollars, and detergents and cleaners - for 89 million dollars.

According to Alexei Fursin, the head of Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and innovative development, last year foreign shipments in this segment amounted to nearly $970 million.
