Rostec's research institute Polyus has signed a contract on long-term partnership with the major Silk Road Innovation Park.

The parties will cooperate, for example, in establishing an engineering center, transferring knowledge-intensive technologies, and expertise in common projects.

The Russian-Chinese Silk Road Innovation Park was established in 2014. Now it is a key platform for promotion and development of domestic high-tech companies and innovative projects in Shaanxi Province.

Thus, the institute together with the park will create a center for selecting promising projects relying on partner universities in Russia and China. The organizations will also locate Silk Road projects at Polyus' laboratory and production facilities and assist in the transfer of technology to develop the industrial potential of the two countries.
