Agricultural holding Agrosila is planning to invest five billion rubles in its own development this year, said Svetlana Barsukova, the holding's CEO.

She named milk processing as one of the main investment areas.

The company also intends to run two projects for the production of semi-hard and brine cheeses. The total volume of investments will amount to 1.4 billion roubles.

In Aznakaevsky district of Tatarstan, within the framework of the investment programme, a cattle breeding complex for 4 thousand dairy cows is being constructed, which is due to be completed next year.

Besides, Agrosila will continue renewing machinery park for crop and livestock farming. According to the holding website, 1.2 billion rubles will be invested in the project.

"Agrosila is one of the largest landowners in the country, the total area of its farmland is over 330 thousand hectares. The holding consists of 25 enterprises, which are engaged in cultivation of grain crops, production of poultry, sugar and milk products.
