Last year, rescue services had to extinguish 439.1 thousand fires in Russia. Most of the fires - almost 268 thousand cases - occurred in open areas. However, the second and third lines of the anti-rating were occupied by fires in apartment buildings and private houses.

These emergencies not only caused a substantial loss of 19 billion roubles but also took the lives of 8.3 thousand people.

The management of the domestic company Ecolight knows firsthand about fires. Its founder Fyodor Nemtsov was personally confronted with this disaster when his house caught fire because of problems with the wiring.

It was then that the entrepreneur realized that standard devices in the switchboard are not always able to save from tragedy, and decided with his team to develop their own fire-fighting device.

We are talking about the UZIS device, which helps prevent ignition due to arcing in electrical wiring. According to Nemtsov, the new device does not replace standard RCDs, but is the next step in the development of power grid protection devices.
