Russians will be able to visit Cyprus without quarantine

Cyprus has allowed tourists from Russia to visit the island without compulsory compliance with quarantine since April 1, the country's Tourism Minister Savvas Perdios said.

However, Russians will have to undergo PCR tests twice - no later than 72 hours before departure to Cyprus and upon arrival there.

The Association of Russian Tour Operators (ATOR) report notes that Russia will be transferred from the "gray" to the "red" category of countries. Tourists have to register for Cyprus FlightPass 24 hours before departure.

According to Perdios, Cyprus guarantees the Russians a safe holiday with observance of all protection protocols against the virus.

Now flights between Russia and Cyprus are limited. Thus, the airline "Aeroflot" performs 4 flights a week to Larnaca, another flight is performed by the carrier "Pobeda".

Recently there have been reports that Greece will begin accepting Russians from May 14, and in case of favorable epidemiological situation - from the beginning of May.
