Russia to resume air links with six countries from April 1

On 1 April, Russia will resume regular passenger air links with six countries - Germany, Sri Lanka, Venezuela, Syria, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the federal operative headquarters for combating the coronavirus in Russia has announced.

Thus, starting from this date, regular flights from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Frankfurt-am-Main and back, as well as from Moscow to Berlin and back will be resumed.

Besides this, flights to Venezuela, Syria, Sri-Lanka, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be resumed.

The number of flights between Russia and Cuba will be increased up to seven times a week beginning from April 1, while one flight to Belorussia will be added from Kaliningrad.

The number of flights to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Egypt and the UAE will also increase.
