Moscow has developed Russia's first digital model for assessing export potential

Mosprom Export Support and Development Centre has developed the country's first digital model for assessing export potential, Adept 7. With the help of the new service exporters will be able to find out how ready their product is to enter specific foreign markets, said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

He said that last year the capital's non-resource non-energy exports amounted to almost $40 billion, a third higher than in 2019. Through the new mechanism, exporters will be able to strengthen their own position abroad, and new companies will have additional opportunities for export, the deputy mayor added.

The analysis will take place in two stages. At the first of them will assess the overall readiness of the organization to export and identify its strengths and weaknesses. After that the digital system will find out to what extent an exporter can become successful in a specific market with a specific product. This assessment is based on seven key parameters: human resources, financial capabilities, the company's foreign trade infrastructure and the adaptability of its management model, environment, implementation, motivation and purpose, and product uniqueness.

In addition, Mosprom provides exporters with analytical research, advice on foreign trade activities, and assistance in solving problems in foreign markets.
