Production of equipment for ropeways will appear this year on the territory of Technopolis "Moscow". It will produce components for creating a ropeway over the Khimki Reservoir between Skhodnenskaya and Rechnoi Vokzal metro stations in the capital city.

A new industrial site of the company "RT-Bartholet", a subsidiary of the Swiss ropeway manufacturer Bartholet Maschienenbau AG and state corporation "Rostec" is planning to start in autumn in the Moscow district of Pechtaniki on more than four thousand "squares".

Here ropeway systems by an innovative Swiss technology will be produced.

The new ropeway will work in 2023. As it was stated by the head of the capital department of investment and industrial policy Alexander Prokhorov, road building will be held by a consortium which won a tender for a concession agreement conclusion, he also was engaged in ropeway creation on the Sparrow Hills. The Head of Department explained that it is about "Moscow ropeways" and Swiss manufacturer of ropeways Bartholet.

Equipment of the new company will be realized domestically and supplied to foreign markets. The company plans to achieve 51% production localization in Russia.

In the near future the company plans to become a resident of a special economic zone, which will entitle them to special privileges.
