Russian producers of sunflower oil and sugar may receive 9 billion rubles for reimbursement of part of the costs to stabilize the cost of food products, according to a draft government decree.

As follows from the document, the estimated production price of one liter of refined sunflower oil is 102.3 rubles, including VAT. Due to the fact that at the moment oil is sold at the average price of 92.6 rubles per liter in the stores, producers incur losses of 9.7 rubles per liter of oil.

The largest part of financing will go to Voronezh Oblast (almost 1.7 billion roubles), Rostov Oblast (1.1 billion roubles) and Krasnodar Krai (1 billion roubles).

Producers of white sugar will be subsidized in the amount of 5 rubles per kilogram produced and sold at the price not exceeding 36 rubles per kilogram.

The expenses are to be compensated from April to September.
