A robot-manipulator with tactile feedback, which can be used in space or at great depths, was presented during the exhibition "Day of Innovations of the Ministry of Defense of Russia".

It will perform complex spatial operations with high accuracy and speed. The military department said that the robot has a low mass and high power density. It can also be equipped with feedback sensors, including tactile.

In addition, the robot is equipped with vision systems. This makes it possible to mount manipulators on mobile carriers as part of robotic complexes or equipment for military and special application.

The development can be used in the space industry as a manipulator for a satellite-inspector, for maintenance and repair of spacecrafts, as well as for deployment and maintenance of space-based antennas.

The robot also can be used by the Navy as part of autonomous unmanned submersibles and as part of complexes for search, rescue and salvage operations.

It can also be used by the engineering forces for mine clearance or by the ground forces as part of robotic complexes for ensuring the loading and maintenance of missile, artillery and small arms systems.
