Small and medium-sized businesses signed contracts worth RUB 880 billion with major customers
In Russia over 50 thousand small and medium-sized companies have signed contracts with major customers totaling 880 billion rubles for 3.5 months of this year. This is 12% higher than the 2020 figures for the same period, the SME Corporation press service said.
The average contract value exceeded eight million rubles.
Almost 65% of the total volume of contracts took the manufacturing sector, 23.4% belonged to the mass sector and about 12% to the high-tech sector. In addition, demand increased for machinery and equipment - the growth in this segment was 1.2%, as well as for services in the field of architecture and engineering design (plus 1.4%).
By the end of the year, the volume of purchases from small and medium-sized businesses should reach 3.8 trillion rubles as part of the national project to support entrepreneurship. By 2024, this figure may grow to 5 trillion rubles.
