Wood processing plant for 5 billion rubles was opened in the Leningrad region
The Leningrad Region has launched the first stage of the Ladoga House-building Plant, the largest timber processing plant in the region. Investments in the establishment of the plant amount to 5.1 billion roubles.
It will produce building structures, sets of ready-made buildings and structures based on cross-glued timber using CLT technology.
The plant is expected to produce 60 thousand cubic metres of ready-made structures annually, and when it reaches its full capacity, the production volume will increase to 167 cubic metres of building components. These volumes will enable to erect about 400 thousand square meters of dwelling and industrial buildings annually.
The plant is located in Avrovo, Volkhovsky district. The Minister of Industry and Trade of the RF and the Governor of the Leningrad Region attended the inauguration of the first stage.
