Work from 4 to 7 May will be paid at the normal rate, rather than the increased rate, unless the employer decides otherwise. The Ministry of Labour has published the relevant recommendations.

It is noted that the increased pay can be set by the employer himself.

Reducing the number of working days does not serve as grounds for a reduction in wages. Employees covered by the decree should be paid according to the employment contract as if all days had been worked.

Those who work by piecework should receive earnings for days not worked in accordance with the original contract. The amount of such expenses is included in the full amount of pay.

In addition, accruals for work from May 1 to 3 and May 8 to 10 of the year will be in accordance with the Labor Code. This means that work on a day off or a public holiday is paid at least double pay.
