Russian plywood manufacturer Sveza has certified its products for the production of buses

The Russian company Sveza, which is the largest producer of birch plywood in the world, has certified its products for the manufacture of buses and trolleybuses.

The certificate will be valid until the end of 2024. It allows the company to export its plywood to bus and coach manufacturers in the Eurasian Economic Union.

The document confirms the safety of Sveza's products for passengers and drivers.

One of the main distinguishing features of this special plywood is its minimal flammability - the blocks are virtually self-extinguishing. That is why it can be used for the assembly of public transport, including shift buses for the Far North.

Plywood is traditionally used for flooring, seat frames, walls and the ceiling.

According to the company, Sveza is the first plywood producer to receive all safety approval documents required for export.
