Atommash Machine-Building Plant produced and shipped the internals of the first nuclear reactor for Unit 1 of the Turkish Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant.

The equipment consists of an 11-meter long reactor vessel internals, a baffle and a protective tube unit. Their total weight exceeds 210 tons.

All the devices were transported from the plant to a special pier, where they were loaded on a barge with a gantry crane and shipped to the construction site in Turkey. The water journey will be about 3 thousand kilometers.

The reactor is a vertical cylindrical vessel with an elliptical bottom and inside it there is a core and intra-vessel devices. The reactor is sealed from above by a lid with studs of the main connector.
