The construction of a new plant has begun in Rybinsk district, Yaroslavl region. Rainbow trout will be raised there.

The plant will be built by Russia's largest organic agricultural holding AgriVolga. The volume of investments will be more than 275 million rubles. Its launch will create 50 jobs. The work is scheduled to be completed in two years - in June 2023.

Yaroslavl region, under the social and economic program "10 points of growth" also plans to grow in Rybinskiy district Australian red snapper and clarion catfish. This will create jobs for over 120 people.

AgriVolga Holding was established in 2007 in Uglich, Yaroslavl region. It produces natural organic milk, dairy products cheese, meat, sausages and vegetables. The holding also carries out breeding work on cattle and small ruminants.
