Samara authorities approved applications from two companies ready to invest more than 14 billion rubles in the creation of their projects on the basis of the special economic zone (SEZ) "Togliatti", the regional government website reports.

"At a meeting of the special economic zone's expert council, we considered two new investment projects. One is in the field of agricultural products processing, the second project is related to a small local metallurgical production. The total investment volume will be more than 14 billion rubles and these companies will create more than 1,300 jobs," said Dmitry Bogdanov, Minister of Economic Development and Investment of the Samara region.

SEZ "Togliatti" was established on April 29, 2014. Today, there are 27 residents operating in it.
