"Russian Post to be reformed

"Russian Post is preparing for structural reform. According to the company's CEO Maxim Akimov, by 2030 the company plans to move to a holding company format.

According to RBC, the transition to the new model will allow the "subsidiaries" to receive partners, including equity partners, independently raise financing, quickly generate products, test hypotheses and bring them to the market.

Russian Post is expected to have more than ten subsidiaries. We are talking about the companies National Logistics Technologies, Post Bank, and the developer of digital services, PostTech. In the near future, there are plans to create a "subsidiary" for the development of retail.

"It would be good for Russian Post, certainly leaving the control of the state, to have private capital one way or another," Akimov said, but added that there is no dialogue on this topic now.

The company is now 100% state-owned.
