The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Information Technologies of the Russian Federation will launch in June a programme for the provision of Russian cloud services for business on favourable terms. This was announced by Maksim Parshin, Deputy Head of the Ministry.

"We launch the provision of cloud services for small businesses at a preferential rate. The state will undertake 50% of license cost on the most demanded domestic solutions such as logistics and CRM system. We are planning to launch the programme in June and have allocated 1 billion roubles to it. Our figure for this year is to issue 63 thousand licenses. Next year it will develop further," - said Parshin during the St. Petersburg international economic forum-2021.

The program of preferential crediting of companies for support of digital transformation and implementation of Russian IT solutions has been implemented as part of the federal project "Digital Technologies" of the national program "Digital Economy" since 2020. The programme provides for issuing a loan at a preferential rate of 1% to 5%, with the costs reimbursed by the ministry.
