The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia is preparing to open up new markets with "noble exports". This was stated by First Deputy Minister Vasiliy Osmakov at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

"We are now focusing on creating new exporters and supporting new export products. The final outcome of the national project is to make exporting easy, convenient and pleasant. In addition, the goal is to change the quality of exports - there is such a concept as "the nobility of exports". It should be structurally more sustainable," Osmakov said.

"New players, uncovered markets, new niches and teaching to be competitive in new niches is the result we are aiming at," he added.

According to the deputy minister, the most difficult thing for the department now is to target support measures and public policies "so that they uncover new markets together." He explained that it is now very difficult to establish supplies to countries as bureaucratic procedures need to be harmonised. "There has to be a systematic work," Osmakov believes.
