More than 180 thousand Russian companies have registered their activities in exclusively online format with the help of Sber service, Sberbank's Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Anatoly Popov told the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum - 2021.

"One of the services that we are consistently developing with the government is a service using a cloud signature. ...This is a mechanism for remote registration of a company and opening a current account. In the pandemic, that proved to be particularly important. In fact, people were not even allowed to go, including to the Federal Tax Service (FTS (Federal Tax Service - ed.), to register.17% of companies at that time were opened with the help of online tools. Already 183 thousand companies were opened that way", - told Popov at the session "Digital services for business".

He pointed out that within the 63rd federal law "On electronic signature" Sberbank jointly with the Federal Tax Service issued 18 thousand electronic signatures to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.

SPIEF 2021 is held from June 2 to 5. The theme of this year's forum is "Together Again. A New Reality Economy". The event is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
