The State Development Corporation VEB.Russian Federation, the largest retailer X5 Group, bank DOM.Russian Federation and Corporation for development of small and medium business (SME Corporation) have launched a "road map" for the development of small and medium business. The document was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

"The road map" was a continuation of the agreement concluded by the parties last year to support small and medium-sized enterprises. Cooperation between VEB.ru, SME Corporation, DOM.ru and X5 is aimed at creating favorable conditions, including organizational and economic ones, for small retail companies and expansion of sales channels for agricultural cooperatives and farmers," VEB.ru said.

The document includes specific steps for the development of small businesses and individual entrepreneurial initiatives. In particular, the organizations have agreed to approve special options for credit products of DOM.RF Bank for entrepreneurs - suppliers of X5 Group, as well as to develop a separate program of business counterparties assessment to offer them pre-approved loans for business development, the state corporation specified.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is taking place from June 2 to 5. This year's theme is "Together Again. The Economy of New Reality". The event is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
