Sber and the Moscow Region Government signed an agreement to create favourable conditions for the development of unmanned transport.

The document envisages creation of a test center for unmanned transport in Istra, Moscow region.

The day before Sber subsidiary SberAutoTech presented an autonomous electric car of its own design, FLIP, within the framework of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

As a part of the signed agreement, Sber "considers the possibility of participation in development of investment proposals" for construction of the center. This will affect the development of SberAutoTech technologies, will have a positive impact on the creation of new jobs in the region and will lead to an increase in tax revenues to the regional budget.

Sber is going to invest not only in passenger and cargo drones, but also in the infrastructure for their effective testing, said Lev Khasis, First Deputy Chairman of Sberbank.
