A service centre for creative industries will open in Moscow

A service center for creative industries will open in Moscow in June. It was announced by the head of Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development Alexey Fursin at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Now construction and adjustment works are finishing in the Center, writes TASS.

"Evolution will take place, at first we will probably try to work offline, that is, entrepreneurs will come there", - said Fursin.

He added that the mayor's office hopes that the center will become a fashionable place, but it will function "taking into account the specifics of entrepreneurs.

In the capital 18 service centers for entrepreneurs are already open. The new center will focus only on the creative sector. Entrepreneurs will be provided with consultations, educational services, assistance in drawing up documents, opening a business, preparing reports and so on.

Let's remind, earlier on SPIEF experts emphasized that for successful integration into the new world economy, Russia should consider the trend on creation, rather than production.

"Countries that have made breakthroughs in the creative economy have seen several important positive effects. First, it creates opportunities for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. This is a driver we are now placing quite a big bet on. Second, it creates jobs, which is also a sensitive issue for Russia. It is also a great opportunity to diversify the development of the non-resource segment of the economy, improve the quality of human capital and effectively create a comfortable environment", - said Lilia Ovcharova, the pro-rector of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is taking place from June 2nd to 5th. This year the theme is "Together Again. Economy of the New Reality". The event is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
