SMEs propose to replace a fine for a first offence with a warning

In Russia, the vast majority of the business community believes that the first response to a violation should be limited to a warning. This data was obtained by the Corporation for Small and Medium Enterprises (KSME) as a result of a nationwide survey, TASS writes.

According to the head of KSMC Alexander Isayevich, 95% of respondents said it was important to introduce the principle of "warning as a first response measure.

86% of respondents were in favor of introducing a differentiated scale of fines linked to the category of business by revenue, 85% - for the need to ban the simultaneous prosecution of a legal entity and its head for the same offence. "The introduction of a ban on summing fines for similar offenses is important to 82% of respondents," he said.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum takes place from June 2 to 5. This year's theme is "Together Again. The Economy of New Reality". The event is organized by Roscongress Foundation.
