REC's digital service will select marketplaces for goods

The Russian Export Center (REC) will launch "Podbirator" service, which will search for suitable sites for companies to sell goods, said Veronika Nikishina, CEO of REC, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

"We are now starting to become a digital company, making a one-stop service that we want to make as an environment for exporters. From July 1 we will launch a digital service "Podbirator". It will select marketplaces with which we cooperate," Nikishina said.

The REC will cooperate with the Russian Post in this direction.

"We realized that delivery, which is very important, is the last mile and we are doing a service together with Russian Post. It will be digitally integrated into the service," concluded the head of the center.

The REC's press service said that the service will select the relevant online sales channel to enter the foreign market. The user will have to fill the questionnaire about the company and products, after which the marketplaces will be selected and information on the improvement of the company's strategy for online export trade will be presented.

In June the service will run in test mode in order to collect exporters' feedback and take into account all comments and suggestions,

About 80 electronic trading platforms will be available to exporters, including, and by the end of the year, the figure will reach 100.
