Textile company "Shuiskiye Sittsy" will start to cooperate with the French chain "Auchan"

The products of the Russian textile company "Shuiskie Sittsy" will appear in the counters of the French hypermarket chain "Auchan". An agreement to this effect was signed on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

"Auchan is going to buy half a billion rubles worth of products from the cotton plant, and if the export potential is taken into account, the plant will give 850 million rubles. The foreign company will have a range of 175 items on the counters of the Ivanovo plant, most of which will be bed linen.

"Shuiskie Sitts is a closed cycle company which regularly upgrades its technological systems, renews its equipment and builds new shops. According to Anna Bogadelina, CEO of the mill, such changes contribute to the development of Russia's textile potential and increase the competitiveness of domestic products in the international market.

"Our fabrics are superior to their foreign counterparts in some characteristics, and we are happy that these top quality products will now be sold through our partner - the Auchan retail chain," she said on the website of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Collaboration with one of the largest retailers will allow "Shuiskiye Sitts" to increase the production of goods and "give a new round of development" of the light industry in the country, as well as open new opportunities for local producers and reduce dependence on Chinese exports.

The company is focused on the long-term cooperation, due to which the Russian textile industry will be able to consolidate its positions on the world market.
