Smolensk region has signed an agreement with Cargo Line Smolensk on the creation of a logistics center in the region. The relevant document was signed as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, according to the website of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Thus, a logistics center for temperature cargo service will be erected there; it will consist of a service station for trucks and an administrative building for offices of transport companies. In addition, it will include a gas filling station, a car charging station and a logistics hub for the export of Russian goods to Europe.

They are investing RUR 1 billion in the centre and will create over 110 additional jobs. The project is planned to be completed by 2025.

The company has been operating in the refrigerated truck transport sector for over 15 years. Its fleet consists of over 500 different tractors and refrigerated trucks.

In total, there are now more than 170 international trucking companies operating in Smolensk region.
