The UAE Minister of Food and Water Security together with his colleagues will visit on Tuesday the enterprises of agricultural holding Agrosila - "Chelny-Broiler" and "Chelny-MPK".

The Russian company will share its poultry breeding experience with the Middle Eastern partners, the particular attention will be focused on the specifics of halal production and deep poultry meat processing, the holding press service said.

Today Agrosila is one of the largest halal producers in the country. The Halal committee of Tatarstan's Spiritual Administration of Muslims controls the products' compliance with Islamic norms. The products are sold not only in the Russian Federation, but also are exported to other countries, including Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. Since last year the holding started supplying chicken legs and broiler chicken by-products to China.

In 2020, Chelny Broiler was ranked by the American publication WATTPoultry International as one of the largest broiler meat producers in Europe. The company consists of 11 sites where more than 60 million birds are raised annually, a unique broiler breeding facility, two hatcheries with an annual capacity of more than 67 million eggs, as well as a chicken meat processing plant and a sausage products manufacturing plant in the Volga region.

Production at the company is carried out on a full production cycle from receipt of hatching eggs and young laying hens to manufacturing and sales of finished products to the consumer.

"Agrosila.Chelny-MPK is engaged in processing of poultry meat. Productive capacity of the company is 144 tons per day (almost 50 thousand tons per year). This is, as the press service said, one of the highest indicators in the industry.
