"Segezha Group" intends to build a plant for the production of environmentally friendly paper packaging in the innovative industrial park "Borovlevo-3" near Tver.

The respective document was signed by the governor of the region Igor Rudenya and the president of the company Mikhail Shamolin at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

According to the press-service of the regional government, the regional authorities are ready to provide the investor with the complex support during the realization of the project.

After the resident status of the park and the final approval of the project, the investment volume will be about 3 billion rubles. The plant's annual capacity will be 300 million units - this will include seven consumer packaging lines and one industrial packaging line. The products will be created from Kraft paper.

The launch of the plant is scheduled for the middle of 2023, which will add another 100 jobs to the region.
