Vologda agrarians have fulfilled more than half of the export plan in five months
Enterprises of the Vologda Oblast agro-industrial complex have exported their products for over $18 million in the first five months of 2021, which is 53% of the planned target and 171.4% of the same period of 2020, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture said.
"Confectionery products ($4.9 million) accounted for the largest share in the structure of exports, followed by baby food ($3.6 million) and fine and coarse flour and pellets from fish or crustaceans ($3.5 million) in third place," the ministry said in a statement.
Products from Vologda are exported to 38 far and near abroad countries. The leading importers are China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
