The Ministry of Industry and Energy of Chuvashia is implementing an accelerator - a project for the development of industrial and investment potential of local enterprises. It provides for increasing export of non-resource non-energy products through promotion in other countries and regions of Russia.

As of now, the republic has already launched an export accelerator. Its participants include six companies, namely the Cheboksary machine building plant "Sespel", the Romana sports equipment factory, the "Yakhting" clothing manufacturer, the "Chuvashtorgtechnika" company, the "Elita" clothing factory and the "Project Doors" company.

For the time being the documents collection is over. Participants of the accelerator told about the problems in relation to export and put forward proposals, the implementation of which they consider necessary to enter the new sites.

Evgeny Gerasimov, Minister of Industry and Energy of Chuvashia, stated that the acceleration program helps increase sales markets for goods. As an example, he cited successful cases of companies that have already become participants in the program.

"In 2019, 159 enterprises participating in the national project took part in the program, of which 42 concluded 85 export contracts worth 2.96 billion rubles," Gerasimov noted.
